About Me

Mr. Mojica is currently in his fifth year as Principal of Roberto Clemente Community Academy. He is a firm believer that all students can learn given the right supports. Inspired by the words of the late Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.", he is committed to working with families and community members to develop and sustain a rigorous academically challenging instruction that incorporates targeted socio-emotional supports for all Clemente students. 

 

Mr. Mojica has taught kindergarten through tenth grade, and a multitude of subjects including reading, mathematics, science, Spanish, and computer science to name a few. While teaching, he helped to develop the elementary foreign language program for Richland/Lexington School District in South Carolina and has served as a speaker/presenter on Quality Education for the Broward County School District. 

 

Throughout his career as an educator, Mr. Mojica has been fortunate to serve in several capacities.  In addition to his work in the public school system, he’s worked for an education start-up company, LearningSoft, as the Director of Education; where he developed pre-k - 8th online software in four different languages and as Digital Content Specialist for Pearson Learning.

 

Mr. Mojica is a career educator, with over 21 years of experience both within the public and business education sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Southeastern University in Florida and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from DePaul University.
